AN ONLINE (AND IN-PERSON) EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE OF ECUMENICAL AND INTERFAITH RELATIONS

As part of the Jewish preparation for the Days of Awe (the ten days starting with Rosh Hashanah and ending with Yom Kippur),
Dr. Shuly Rubin Schwartz will give a talk on the Book of Jonah. She will explore what it means to be brave and morally grounded
when it would be easier to turn away. The Book of Jonah summons us to engage and build bridges—even with those who may seem distant
or hostile—and teaches that like Jonah, each of us has the power to make a difference. Join this webinar for a Jewish insight into
our shared biblical tradition.

In this Holy Year of Jubilee, as Pilgrims of Hope let us seek to build bridges, make a difference, and work with other faith communities
in friendship for the common good.
